This week, on the World Famous Double Killcast, we talk about Germany and how we’re huge there. No, seriously; they love us. We run down a brief history of Doublekill, and talk about our evolution.
We talk about app.net for a while, which doesn’t necessarily have anything to do at all with video games, but is something that very much caught our attention, given the fact that we’ve become a bit disenchanted with the “pay-to-be-seen” social networking model that seems to be the norm as of late.
Getting on the topic of gaming, Superior brings up Dark Blood Online, a pretty badass free-to-play side-scrolling hack-and-slash MMO game that he has recently discovered. We get a little distracted, and talk about us for a while. We talk about the meeting of the Jasons from a few weekends ago, which lead to a discussion of real guns that we shot that weekend.
We move off that topic and talk about that stupid fucking story about the stupid fucking kid that played that stupid fucking game for four stupid fucking days until the stupid fucking asshole stupidly passed the fuck out. That said, it leads us to talking about how you, as a gamer, need to learn to go the fuck outside. We get a little heartfelt and inspirational and shit here. This turns in to a very positive sort of talk, encouraging you–the listener–to stop wanting to do something, and instead just do it. (Insert “swoosh” here)
We talk about the Black Ops II multiplayer trailer that ignited the internet this week. Everyone seems to know everything there is to know about Black Ops II based on the obscenely short video, and we have a laugh about it.
Blizzard was hacked last week. We talk about it. We played a little Spelunky last week. We talk about that, too. In closing, there is something new we’re working on. We talk about that, as well.
